Adam has substantial experience in intellectual property law and the management of intellectual property portfolios. His practice includes advising clients on the protection, registration, maintenance, licensing, assignment, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trademarks, patent, copyrights, trade names, and other intellectual property assets. He assists clients in managing their intellectual property portfolios by coordinating the legal aspects of applications, registrations, renewals, ownership transfers, licensing arrangements, recordals, and related administrative and legal procedures before the competent authorities. His experience further extends to advising on intellectual property infringement, unauthorized use, opposition and objection proceedings, settlement negotiations, and intellectual property-related litigation and dispute resolution. He also provides strategic legal support in developing and implementing appropriate measures to safeguard clients’ intellectual property assets and mitigate potential infringement and commercial risks. He has substantial experience in FIDIC-based construction contracts, including advising on the interpretation, administration, and implementation of contractual provisions, as well as claims, variations, extensions of time, delays, payment disputes, performance obligations, termination, defects, and other contractual issues arising throughout the project lifecycle. He also advises clients on construction-related disputes and supports negotiations, expert proceedings, arbitration, and litigation arising from FIDIC and other forms of construction contracts.. He has extensive experience in insurance-related disputes involving claims of various types, where he has consistently achieved strong results for the firm's clients. His clientele includes leading insurance companies operating in the UAE, as well as individuals involved in complex insurance claims. Throughout his career, Adam has cultivated strong professional relationships with clients, built on trust, effective communication, coordination, and execution. This has contributed to his strong track record in successfully handling complex legal matters. With high-level proficiency in drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, submissions, and other legal documents in full compliance with the procedural framework of mainland courts, tribunals, and administrative authorities, his experience further extends to Alternative Dispute Resolution through various methods, particularly arbitration.
